Media production for a new permanent collection

After undergoing renovation and extension, and introducing new, contemporary exhibition architecture, the Stadtmuseum Kassel reopened in June 2016 after six years of construction.

We realized several interactive media installations for the new permanent exhibition on the history of the city of Kassel.

This involved producing films and animated clips and developing screen and interface designs for multimedia applications.

The individual exhibits get a chance to express themselves; they discuss with one another, philosophize about each other and draw the visitor into their recollections.

With the help of a digitally animated version of the city’s oldest map, visitors get a clear picture of Kassel’s urban development.
